Webster-Ingersoll, Inc. is a Landscape Contracting company based in the Southern Berkshires of western Massachusetts. We serve the Berkshires as well as Litchfield County, CT and Columbia County, NY. We are a team of dedicated professionals who bring creativity, ingenuity and quality to our projects. Our vision is to honor our community by using the most environmentally conscious and sustainable practices available.
Ben Webster and Tom Ingersoll, both of the local green industry of the Southern Berkshires, began working together when they joined their established companies to implement the restoration of the historic gardens at The Mount, Edith Wharton's estate in Lenox, MA. Webster-Ingersoll was the result of this successful collaboration, and incorporated in 2002, formalizing the union of Webster Gardens and John C. Ingersoll, Inc.
With new opportunities on the horizon, Webster-Ingersoll expanded its staff of arborists, horticulturists and stonemasons to include a full-time design team and plant health care specialists. The new company now provides a broader range of landscaping services to clients both commercial and residential. We continue to move forward in the fields of arboriculture, horticulture and plant health care through ongoing education.
